The Website and our Services are operated by [T & S Enterprises (London) Limited trading as Atariya Foods] (“Atariya Food”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Atariya operates Japanese restaurants and food shops.

Atariya Food is an English company with registered company number 03818920 and whose registered office is at Handel House, 95 High Street, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 7DB.

    If you visit one of ours sushi bars, shops or request wholesale products from us, we may collect and process: (i) your name; (ii) your contact information (including telephone number, postal address, and/or email address); (iii) your payment details; and (iv) any information you volunteer which is relevant to our relationship with you. Where we undertake a credit check before extending credit, we may also request further information.
  • Suppliers (including subcontractors and individuals associated with our suppliers and subcontractors).
    Corporate organisations (excluding sole traders) are not data subjects, although any individuals who work for them are. We collect and process personal information about our suppliers (including their employees, directors, or other individuals associated with them) in order to carry out credit checks, manage the relationship, to receive services from our suppliers, and, where relevant, to provide products and services to our restaurant, retail or wholesale customers.
  • Job applicants.
    If you apply for a job with us, we may collect and process: (i) your name and title; (ii) your current job title; (iii) your contact information (including telephone number, postal address, and/or email address); (iv) personal information concerning your education, qualifications, and employment history; and (v) any other personal information which appears in your curriculum vitae or which is relevant to your potential recruitment, which may include special categories of personal information and information relating to criminal convictions and offenses.
  • Members of the public.
    We use CCTV in some of our sushi bars and shops, which may capture the image and/or likeness of members of the public visiting our premises.

Our primary goal in collecting personal information from you is to: (i) provide our Services; (ii) help us improve our products and services and develop and market new products and services; (iii) carry out requests made by you on the Website; (iv) investigate or settle inquiries or disputes; (v) comply with any applicable law, court order, other judicial processes, or the requirements of a regulator; (vi) enforce our agreements with you; (vii) protect the rights, property or safety of us or third parties, including our other restaurant, retail or wholesale customers and users of the Website; (viii) provide support for the provision of our Services; and (ix) use as otherwise required or permitted by law.

  • Providing our Services.
    We collect and maintain personal information that you voluntarily submit to us during your use of the Website and/or with our products and Services. For example:#

    • Restaurant customers – we may collect your name and contact information (including telephone number, postal address and/or email address) when you book a table at one of our restaurants or pre-order any food to collect from our restaurants. If you pay via card in our restaurant, we may also process your payment card details.
    • Retail food shop customers – we may collect your name and payment card details when you visit our shop and if you have a loyalty card, we will also collect your email address and telephone number. If you request any delivery services, we may also process your postal address.
    • Wholesale customers – we may collect the name of the person who placed the order with us and any postal address to deliver the order. We may also process any payment details that you provide to us and if necessary carry out a credit reference check.

What is our legal basis?
It is necessary for us to use your personal information to perform our obligations in accordance with any contract that we may have with you. It is also in our legitimate interest to use your personal information in such a way to ensure that we provide the very best service we can to you. If you do not provide any personal information that we request from you, we may be unable to provide the products or services that you have requested.

  • Customer services and enquiries.
    Our Website provides both an email address or telephone number that you can contact to request information about our Services. Contact information may be requested in each case, together with details of other personal information that is relevant to your customer service enquiry. This information is used in order to enable us to respond to your requests.

What is our legal basis?
It is in our legitimate interest to use your personal information in such a way to ensure that we provide the very best customer service we can to you.
